POSNA continues to value its relationship with POPS. Our
alliance with you is important to us as an organization.
More importantly, our mutual professional relationships of
providing the clinical care to children with musculoskeletal
disorders is of foremost importance to all of us. We
anticipate an outstanding coming year of collaborative
efforts, culminating with our joint annual meetings in
Denver 2012.

of Dallas in Orthopedic Surgery. Lori graduated from the
University of Memphis with her BSN in 1995 and MS from Texas
Woman's University in 1998. Lori's specialties are
orthopedic trauma and musculoskeletal infection.

Colleen graduated with her Diploma in Nursing from
St. Luke’s School
of Nursing in 1987,
BSN from Penn State
in 1992 and her MSN from
Gwynedd-Mercy
College in 2004. She has
currently been accepted into the Doctoral of Nursing
Practice program at The Thomas Jefferson University School
of Nursing. Her
interests are skeletal dysplasia, cervical spine stenosis/instability,
spine deformities and leg-length discrepancies.
She is president-elect of PADELVAL chapter of NAPNAP
as well as secretary of the Ortho Special Interest Group.

Past President
Shellye is a Pediatric Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner at
Children's Medical Center of Dallas in Orthopedic Surgery.
Shellye graduated from Dallas Baptist University with her
BSN in 1993 and MS from Texas Woman's University in 2000.
Shellye's specialties are orthopedic trauma and
musculoskeletal infection. She is the team leader for our 16
member group of NP/Pa's.

Founding Committee
The Pediatric
Orthopaedic Practitioners Society’s twelve member Founding Board was
established in May 2005. The Founding Board is responsible for
supervision, control and direction of the affairs of POPS during the
initial development phase. They determine its policies or changes,
actively implement its purposes, and have discretion in the
disbursement of its funds.
